The objective of Resource Management Law Association (RMLA) Conference is to focus minds on addressing climate change and sustainable development; preservation of New Zealand’s Outstanding Natural Landscapes; resolving competing needs of water users; protecting our regions’ outstanding water bodies; and better managing competition for productive rural land and the growth industries of aquaculture and tourism.
RMLA’s OUTstanding conference seeks to better equip practitioners, consultants, businesses, industry players and decision makers alike to confront these challenges and be outstanding in their response. We also seek to identify ways to diversify from reliance on the primary sector; to innovate and embrace new technologies; and in doing so, strengthen New Zealand’s economic competitiveness.
